Leave it to GoDaddy to jack up all my sites…hence the change to this new site. Currently mywiinumber.com is down as I prepare it for this new hosting account. I’m also re-vamping it to use some of the newer .NET 4.0 features including my favorite ORM, LINQ to SQL. These features wouldn’t work with GoDaddy, so one more reason I’m glad to be off their system.
Costa Vida Raspberry Chipotle Chicken Nachos
Wow, these nachos are amazing. My original vote was for their sweet pork nachos, but after trying these, it was no contest. The chipotle sauce gives a very nice sweet-hot mix that is not too hot and has plenty of flavor. Once the sweet fades, you get a nice taste of BBQ that just rounds the sweetness out. The chips are loaded up with fresh grated cheese and topped with raspberry chipotle sauce, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and grilled chicken. They try to load beans on there too, but my advice is to hold the beans and add their rice instead for a much nicer combination of flavor. The nachos are then fed through their grill to melt everything together. The cost of these nachos are pretty high and that kept me from trying them for a long time, but now having seen the light, these are well worth the price and will fill you up as much as their smothered burritos for the same price.
After years of dealing with GoDaddy for hosting, I was finally fed up enough to switch. Along with the hosting change, comes a new site design and format. One of the things I will try to keep up on is my “Best In Town” series of posts. I have always wanted to publish what I think are the best things in town. As I travel, I often want to try the “best sushi in town” or the “best fries in town”, so anyone visiting my site will have a good sense of what I think are the best in town. This site will also be the place where I’ll post random findings from the computer world that interest me. Most likely they will be programming related, but I’ll throw some other things in here as well.
